Cabinets, Paint and Brick

The last month has been very busy. Since my last update, custom cabinets have been installed, the whole house has been painted, and tile work has started. Also, the countertops have been measured and I ordered all the blinds for the windows. Last week they started the brick and they were finishing today when I stopped by. My builder is working on making the doors and drawers for the cabinets. Today the electrical outlets were installed, and most of the lighting fixtures were installed. The goal is to be finished by Thanksgiving. I hope we make it!! I'm including some photos of the different things that have happened over the last month.

I painted all the trim and cabinets Benjamin Moore - Decorator's White and the main areas of the house Benjamin Moore Harbor Gray.

  1. *swoon* I am so jealous of your custom cabinets, and I love the kitchen sink! I wanted one here, but the cabinet and plumbing wouldn't cooperate within budget. :( Are you painting it yourself, or are they doing it?

  2. I love the 12x24 tile. I sell flooring for a living and those have become quite popular here in Florida too. I can't wait to see more of the progress photos. Thanks for sharing!

  3. pretty tile, and such gorgeous exterior! We don't have a cost-effective access to stone or brick, - how regal looking!
